Different perspectives on tongue tie

Tongue Tie Anatomy

Dr. Agarwal does a terrific job of not only explaining what tongue tie is from a layman and clinical perspective, but also goes into why diagnosis of tongue tie is so difficult.

Dr. Agarwal explains that diagnosing tongue tie is much like the parable of the blind men and the elephant. Different professionals can all see the symptoms of tongue tie, but their interpretation of it is different.

Please watch this video if you believe you are seeing infants or children with tongue tie in your practice. This video is a terrific primer for any ICAP member that wants to learn more about this condition.
